Description

The Nikon D800 is more than a DSLR, it's also a broadcast quality video camera. It can capture both still and video images in full frame FX-format with it's CMOS 36.3Mp sensor using Nikon's powerful EXPEED 3 image-processing engine. The optical low-pass filter reduces false color and moiré and an ISO range of 100-6400 that's expandable to ISO 50-25600 equivalent. Additionally, the D800 boasts 14-bit A/D conversion and 16-bit image processing. The camera's Nikon F mount accepts a multitude of NIKKOR lenses, included DX and AF-S lenses.

The D800's Advanced Scene Recognition System with a 91k-pixel RGB sensor brings out precise, accurate colors in every scene, for natural-looking results. When combined with auto-area AF and subject tracking in 3D-tracking, your images are even more fine-tuned. In addition, the 3D color matrix metering III feature results in pleasing auto exposures, especially when human faces are in the scene.

When it comes to HD movie capture, the D800 shoots broadcast quality video in two D-Movie formats at 1080/30p full HD. The D800 captures movies in FX and DX movie formats. The FX-based format renders shallow depth of field with beautiful bokeh, while the DX-format uses an image area similar to 35mm movie film, for a look cinematographers are accustomed to.

Rental Package Includes: Camera, front body cap, strap, battery and charger only

Note: Lenses and CF or SD memory cards are not included in the package and due to copyright reasons neither is Nikon software. You will require some type of editing software such as Photoshop in order to download and view your images.
